the Realms Thereunder

Well I have spent a lot more time then usual reading this book by Ross Lawhead. This is a book I got for free threw Booksneeze. When I read about this book coming out I was super excited and couldn't wait for the book to arrive in the mail. I started it right away and after the first chapter I slowed down. The Idea of the book is wonderful but it is not written out very well at all.

This story is about two young kids that go exploring during a school field trip and get lost. Very lost, in fact they don't show up again for years. they find a room with enchanted knight's and go off on an adventure to save another world. sounds wonderful but the book is difficult to get threw.

It jumps from present to past and never really lets you know when that is happening. Some chapter's begin in the future and end in the past. The story takes a long time to get to where it can possible make sense, pretty much the end of the book is where everything starts to click. I would say that the Author spent way to much time trying to help draw a picture in my head. There was sooooooo much detail about locations and not the story. I would give this book two stars our of five.
